Flagship Amsterdam is a young and fast-growing shipping company in the center of Amsterdam. We offer both public cruises and private tours on our beautiful open sloops and classic salon boats. We started in 2017 with three boats, have since grown to more than 53 boats, and we’re still expanding! Annually, we welcome people from over 55 nationalities, cruising throughout the year with the help of our young and ambitious team, consisting of more than 400 (seasonal) employees.

What are you going do?

As an Electrical Engineering Trainee, you will have the opportunity to learn about various aspects within electrical engineering. You will support our Technical Department in carrying out maintenance tasks and repairs on our electric boats.

During your role, you will:

• Repaire minor damage (such as replacing pumps or putty);
• Assist with battery maintenance;
• Assist in analyzing and fixing electrical malfunctions;
• Check and replace electrical equipment and parts;
• Assist in creating a plan of action to resolve larger defects or malfunctions.

Job requirements

Requirements: 

• You are following an MBO course in the field of Electrical Engineering or another relevant field;
• You have two right hands and like to get to work;
• You can preferably start per September 2024 or February 2025;
• You are available for at least 3 months;
• You like to work outdoors.
