From here you can easily join a classic daytime canal cruise or experience the evening atmosphere when Amsterdam lights up after dark.

The location is well connected by public transport. Tram lines stop at Museumplein and Rijksmuseum, both just a few minutes’ walk from the dock. Vondelpark, Museumplein and the Van Gogh Museum are all within easy reach, making this departure point convenient and central.

The boarding location is Museumbrug 1, 1017 RW Amsterdam, right in front of the Rijksmuseum.

From Amsterdam Central Station, the fastest option is to take metro line 52 (North-South line) towards Zuid and get off at Vijzelgracht. From there it’s just a 5-minute walk to the Rijksmuseum and the boarding location on the Museumbrug.

You can also take tram 5 or 12 directly to the Rijksmuseum stop, or tram 1, 7, or 19 to Spiegelgracht, which is also just a few minutes away on foot.

Parking in the city center is limited and expensive. We recommend using Park & Ride facilities outside the center and taking public transport to the Rijksmuseum.

There are no waiting rooms or toilets at the dock itself, but you will find cafés, shops and restrooms around Museumplein and inside the museum.
