When it comes to nightlife in Amsterdam, there are bars, dance festivals, and club nights to suit every taste, but there’s more… Because where in the world can you party in the canals? Every year there are three major events where you can have the best seats in the house!
First of all, there’s the Amsterdam Light Festival, a winter festival that illuminates the city’s streets and waterways with bewitching light installations by international artists. And the best way to explore the festival? There’s only one way of course – from the water!
During King’s Day (formerly Queen’s Day), we turn every other monarchy in the world green with envy as Amsterdam and the rest of the Netherlands turn a bright shade of orange to celebrate their royal family! Prepare yourself for absolute madness on the canals. And just as you thought it couldn’t get any crazier, there’s Pride Amsterdam, one of the world’s biggest celebrations of LGBTI equality.
On this day, the gay scene in Amsterdam shows their pride in the canals of Amsterdam. People from over the world watch the famous Canal Parade, where participants put on a show with their onboard DJs, show-stopping themes, and plenty of smiles, aiming to get their particular message on equality across.

During the parade, the boat is parked on the canal so you get the best places to see the parade. Of course, we join the parade when it’s finished and we go for the last but not least cruise of that day. We provide music, drinks, and a captain so you can get the ultimate experience. Get in touch with us if you want to know more!

Set sail for SAIL Amsterdam 2020 and experience this journey. We are looking forward to this unique event that since 1975 connects history, present and future.
THE COUNTDOWN HAS BEGUN
It seems a long way away but before you know it, Amsterdam forms the backdrop for prestigious Tall Ships, the sailing heritage and naval ships for the 10th time. We can hardly wait, but there is still much to do before the ship passes IJmuiden, sets course for Amsterdam and moors at the docks of our capital. They are heading for Amsterdam from all corners of the world, are you coming?
