About Flagship

Flagship Amsterdam is a young and rapidly growing shipping company in the center of Amsterdam. We offer both public cruises and private tours on our beautiful open sloops and classic salon boats. We started in 2017 with three boats, have since grown to more than 53 boats, and we’re still expanding! Annually, we welcome people from over 55 nationalities, cruising throughout the year with the help of our young and ambitious team, consisting of more than 400 (seasonal) employees.

What will you be doing?

The best way to admire Amsterdam is of course from the water. As host(ess) at Flagship you provide our guests with an unforgettable canal cruise. While sailing through the canals, the guests enjoy a drink while you and the skipper tell fun stories and facts about Amsterdam.

During your position you will:

• Welcome guests on board;
• Serve drinks (including beer, soda, wine and cocktails);
• Entertain guests with stories about Amsterdam or the artworks of light during Amsterdam Light Festival (no worries, we’ll teach you this);
• Process payments at the end of the tour.

Job requirements

Requirements:

• You can start working from April (or maybe March) 2024 and are available at least 2 days a week, including 1 weekend day;
• You are willing to work in the evenings;
• Experience in hotels, restaurant and/or cafés is an advantage;
• Good mastery of English, Dutch is an advantage;
• You are hospitable, outgoing and have a smooth chat.
