Internship Operations

We are looking for an Operations Intern!

Flagship Amsterdam is a fast-growing, Amsterdam-based shipping company. We offer our guests fun, entertaining 5-star canal cruises on beautiful boats with live guides and cocktails!

During this internship you get the unique opportunity to participate fully within the Operations team of Flagship Amsterdam. You will have a varied role: you will support the Operational managers, be a point of contact for our skippers, hosts and quay employees and you will, among other things, take care of the schedules. You work closely together with other teams within Flagship Amsterdam and you also help with the daily troubleshooting of the Operations team. All in all a fun and challenging internship at a beautiful young and growing company, where you will work independently and get a lot of responsibility!

What will you do?

• Support the Operations team;
• Assist with the daily logistics planning;
• Provide support with scheduling and planning activities;
• Answer the Operations mail and phone;
• Assist in solving last-minute problems;
• Taking on special projects;
• Assist in the preparation and execution of events.

Job requirements

Who are you?

• You are following a relevant HBO education;
• You master the English and Dutch language both verbally and in writing;
• You are available for at least 5 months for 32-40 hours per week (including at least one weekend day);
• You preferably live in Amsterdam;
• You have a talent for organizing and always remain customer friendly;
• You give honest feedback on how we can improve processes within the company.
