Flagship Amsterdam is a young and rapidly growing shipping company in the center of Amsterdam. We offer both public cruises and private tours on our beautiful open sloops and classic salon boats. We started in 2017 with three boats, have since grown to more than 53 boats, and we’re still expanding! Annually, we welcome people from over 55 nationalities, cruising throughout the year with the help of our young and ambitious team, consisting of more than 400 (seasonal) employees.

What will you be doing? 

As a Marine Technician at Flagship Amsterdam, you play a crucial role in various aspects of shipbuilding and maintenance. You work alongside a team of experienced professionals to ensure projects run smoothly and that our ships meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the construction, renovation, and repair of ships; 
• Performing general tasks at the shipyard, such as loading and unloading materials, cleaning the workplace, and assisting in ship movements;
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas;
  Following instructions from supervisors and closely collaborating with colleagues to achieve project objectives; 
• Maintaining a safe work environment and complying with all applicable safety regulations.

What we offer: 

• 24 to 40 hours per week;
• Salary between €2500-€3000 based on 40 hours per week (depending on your experience);
• Working days from Monday to Friday between 09:00 – 17:00;

Job requirements

Requirements: 

• Team player with good communication skills;
• Basic knowledge of tools and general technical skills is a plus;
• Interest in shipbuilding and maritime industry;
• Excellent command of Dutch and/or English language;
• MBO-level education;
• Resident of Amsterdam or surrounding area.
