The Swaen is a classic revived passenger boat built in 1909. As one of the first classic passenger boats to sail the canals of Amsterdam, she was even allotted the “Boat of the Year” award in 1985. During the restoration in 2014, we unexpectedly discovered that she was drastically shortened. We brought her back to her original length based on old pictures and stories. With a glass rooftop that can slide, windows that can roll up and a quiet electric engine, she is the ultimate saloon boat for a deliciously served 3-course dinner, a classic buffet diner or that unique cozy drink.
